When your sensor communicates with your smartphone or tablet it’s called "syncing". Your sensor will attempt to sync when you take your inhaler, press the button on the side of the sensor, or on its own every three hours. In order for your sensor to sync regularly you need to make sure the sensor is attached to your inhaler, the Propeller app is open on your smartphone or tablet, Bluetooth™ is turned on, and your sensor is no more than 10 feet away from your smartphone/tablet.
Your sensor being able to get connected to the Propeller app regularly is very important! Frequent syncing is the best way to make sure all of your inhaler usages are correct and your Trends and Timeline tabs are up to date.
If you’re not able to sync your sensor for any reason, don’t worry! Your sensor will store your inhaler usages until it’s able to sync with the app again. Once your sensor can sync again, all of the stored puffs should show up!
