The Asthma Forecast is a feature available in the Propeller app to help you learn more about how various environmental factors may impact your asthma on a given day. The Asthma Forecast collects temperature, air quality, and humidity information from local weather reports to help you understand how these factors might affect how frequently you use your inhaler.
Since your sensor keeps track of how often you’re using your inhaler, the Propeller system is able to compare your inhaler uses with different temperature, air quality, and humidity levels to help generate an Asthma Forecast that is unique to you and your inhaler trends!
Why don’t I see my Asthma Forecast?
The Asthma Forecast is available in the Propeller app 14 days after you sync your sensor with the app for the first time. The Propeller system needs these 14 days to learn about trends in your inhaler use to make sure your Asthma Forecast is as accurate as possible.
If your account is set up as a caregiver and a patient in the Propeller app, you won’t see an Asthma Forecast in the app unless the patient also has access to their account on their own smartphone or tablet.
We recommend leaving location services enabled on your device and allowing Propeller to access your location to make sure that the information you see in the Asthma Forecast is accurate. We may not be able to generate an Asthma Report for you without consistent location data from your device.
