Propeller uses US National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) guidelines to determine your level of asthma control. Because Propeller sensors track the date and time of your reliever uses, we're able to say how well controlled you are based on your data.
For more information on each of the scores, have a read of this article.
These scores can be pretty confusing, especially if you're new to these guidelines. If you've still got questions, talk to your doctor about your asthma control status and reliever inhaler use.
Propeller sensors only know what you tell them, so if you use a nebuliser or another reliever medication that doesn't have a Propeller sensor on it, we might think you're in better control than you are. You can track use of these medications manually in the Propeller app. For more information, see this article.
