We're sorry to hear your sensor and hub don't seem to be communicating with each other. Sometimes the hub just needs to install an update or be reset- here are some steps to try and get them working again.
Hub Version 1 (bars symbol)
- Unplug your hub and plug it back in. The lights on the front of the hub will begin to flash as your hub re-connects and updates itself. That’s normal.
- After some time, the hub lights will stop flashing and the wifi bars symbol in the top left corner will light up solid green and the house symbol in the top right corner will light up solid yellow. This is when you know the hub is ready to sync with your sensors.
- Press the button on the side of your sensor (a green light should flash).
- After a few seconds, you'll see a series of lights flash on the front of the hub. Wait for a blue light to flash on top of the hub- this is confirmation that the hub and sensor synced successfully!
Hub Version 2 (tower symbol)
- Unplug your hub and plug it back in. The lights on the front of the hub will begin to flash as your hub re-connects and updates itself. That’s normal.
- After some time, the hub lights will stop flashing and the tower symbol in the top left corner will light up solid green and the house symbol in the top right corner will also be solid green. This is when you know the hub is ready to sync with your sensors.
- Press the button on the side of your sensor (a green light should flash).
- After a few seconds, you'll see a series of lights flash on the front of the hub. Wait for the lights on the front of the hub to turn blue- this is confirmation that the hub and sensor synced successfully!
